Order Management and Dispatch Specialist I & II
As an Order Management and Dispatch Specialist you will be a key player in the inner workings of service orders and customer experience, addressing a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities to ensure accuracy of billing and facility records. You will confidently provide optimum support and exceptional customer experience to both our internal and external customers regarding products, services and facilities, software and hardware conversions/migrations, and other various special projects.
This is a position where you must be excited to learn, adapt to challenges and conquer deadlines under pressure. Order Management and Dispatch is the final review point before the service request is prepared for field staff and/or delivered to the end user, so it is imperative to proactively stay current regarding all operational changes.
Primary Responsibilities
Level I
- Ensure accurate processing and fulfillment of incoming orders and tickets
- Manage schedules for field technicians
- Communicate effectively with customers (internal and external) regarding order and ticket status
- Maintain and update order management systems to track progress and resolve issues
- Manage and support company projects
- Support cross-functional teams by providing timely information and assistance as needed
Level II
In addition:- Oversee dispatch operations, optimizing resource allocation to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with others to provision and resolve order issues to ensure smooth service onboarding
- Monitor and analyze order trends and feedback to identify areas for process improvement
- Maintain and update order management systems to track progress and resolve issues
- Support cross-functional teams by providing timely information and assistance as needed
- Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices in Order Management and Dispatch

Experience and Qualifications
- Experience navigating IVUE and solid foundational knowledge regarding Lightcurve services and facilities
- A natural drive to understand and continue to stay informed on technological trends in the telecommunications and broadband industry
- Must possess a strong commitment to precision and accuracy with a meticulous approach to tasks and processes
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to address urgent or unexpected situations, assess issues quickly, prioritize responses, and come up with solutions on the fly
- Adept listening skills – ability to process what someone is communicating, confirm its meaning, and relay precise, relevant and timely responses to the appropriate team members to avoid confusion or error
- Ability to prioritize resource allocation – deciding which orders or tickets are most urgent, and how best to deploy resources like vehicles or personnel with logical analysis and quick evaluation, often with limited information
- Must be able to effectively communicate, collaborate and cooperate with vendors, customers, peers and managers as necessary to meet company objectives
- A scrappy, nimble, innovative, and hands-on contributor who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals and has passion for competing and winning against larger players in the market
Location, Work Environment, Hours, and Physical Requirements
- Location: Any Lightcurve office. Some travel may be required initially for training purposes. Hybrid or fully remote is possible based on proven work performance.
- Work Environment: Our workspaces are collaborative and customer-focused, with a commitment to professional growth and team support.
- Hours: Overtime or weekend shifts may be necessary to meet peak workload and special project demands. On-call holiday rotation.
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of screen time and extended sitting may be required.
Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $27.84 hourly, spanning both I & II
