Eligibility Requirements

  • Available to residential customers with an annual household income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
  • Or participants in any of the following qualifying programs:
    • Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP or Food Stamps)
    • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
    • Section 8 / Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
    • Veterans Pension or Survivors Benefit
  • Visit the National Verifier to check your eligibility.

How to Apply

  • Apply to the Lifeline Program or at the USAC site.
  • If you qualify, you'll receive a one-page proof of eligibility—show this to Lightcurve when you sign up.
