How Lightcurve brings fiber to your neighborhood.

We work with local governments and agencies to plan a fiber route along public easements. You may see survey crews gathering details that help us finalize the route and whether we'll bury the fiber or run it aerially.

We'll notify your neighborhood before construction and do prep work. Crews mark underground utilities like water and gas lines with flags and water-based spray paint in public easements, so they can work safely. Aerial routes may require tree trimming near the lines. We keep disruptions to a minimum throughout.

You'll see crews working in the public easements near your property to set fiber access points. Underground fiber is pulled through buried conduit; aerial fiber is run pole to pole from bucket trucks. If you've signed up for service, we'll connect your home and test the connection once installation is done.

Once construction wraps, crews restore the public easements to their original state: collecting tools and debris, securing cables, and, depending on the method, sweeping and re-seeding any disturbed ground.

With the fiber network complete, we'll begin installations in your neighborhood.
