Rainier Connect and AMS Technology presented the Multicultural Child and Family Hope Center of Tacoma with a $10,000 Technology Makeover. Cynthia Heiss, a teacher at the Center, was present and accepted the award on behalf of her school.
The Center operates seven days a week and provides a range of services to children and families including childcare, emergency respite, hands-on parenting and assessments, and developmental screenings. The Center uses technology to help families sustain themselves from finding resources, to creating resumes, and conducting job searches. Efficient and reliable communication tools are critical to the success of these families.
