    For instance, did you know that Lightcurve must pay for “free” broadcast TV?  We are also required to carry local broadcast TV stations.  It’s the law, and we must first obtain each station’s permission before we can carry them on our cable systems.

    However, stations only grant permission when Lightcurve agrees to pay each station the fees they demand, even though anyone can receive TV signals for free over the air by using an antenna. This means that YOU pay for the same station that is broadcast free over the air when you get broadcast TV via cable.  We don’t think this is fair, and are working to keep these costs in check.
