Voice Network Upgrade

Published 2 hours ago.

Lightcurve is upgrading our voice network in 2026 and 2027 to enable new products and features and enhance service reliability.

With this upgrade, some calling features will be modified, enhanced, or removed. Over the next few weeks and months, customers will be notified of their upgrade schedule and what they need to do to prepare.

If you are currently subscribed to calling features like voicemail or call forwarding, here are a few things you may want to know. Either way, enjoy enhanced service reliability.

  • Voicemail:
    • Saved voicemail messages will not be transferred to the new platform after the upgrade. We will keep your voicemail messages saved on the old platform for 30 days.
    • Your new voicemail will be active after the upgrade. Prepare to record a new greeting message and modify the default voicemail PIN (1234) to your own.
  • Features:
    • Your saved call forwarding and blocked numbers should be transferred during this process. Please validate after the upgrade is complete.
    • Many of the star prompts will remain the same.
  • Access your voicemail: You can access your voicemail by dialing *98 from your phone using the default PIN (1234). You will be prompted to update your PIN and record a new greeting message.
  • Saved voicemail messages: While these were not transferred to the new platform, your saved voicemail messages will remain accessible on the old platform for 30 days.
  • Call forwarding and blocked numbers: These should have been transferred during this process. Please validate these settings.
