Lightcurve is Washington's fastest-growing fiber-internet provider – and we're looking for confident, driven people to bring faster, more reliable internet to their own community.

As a Door-to-Door Sales Associate, you'll be the face of Lightcurve on the doorstep: sparking conversations, solving a real problem for homeowners, and turning “tell me more” into a signed customer. If you love the hustle of face-to-face sales, get energized by a scoreboard, and want your paycheck to reflect your effort, this is your lane.

Key Responsibilities

  • Knock doors and work community events to generate qualified leads
  • Deliver sharp, tailored pitches that speak to what each homeowner actually needs
  • Own your pipeline – track, follow up, and close in Lightcurve's CRM
  • Hit daily and weekly activity targets (doors, presentations, closes)
  • Stick with customers through installation to make sure they're thrilled
  • Represent Lightcurve with professionalism and community pride, every doorstep
  • Be a strong advocate for company values: be a part of and help grow the company's culture that promotes a strong, inclusive, and team and performance-oriented work environment

Experience and Qualifications

  • Face-to-face, outside, or door-to-door sales experience preferred
  • A natural communicator who listens as well as they talk
  • Competitive, resilient, and unbothered by “no” – you hear it as “not yet”
  • Self-motivated and organized enough to run your own day in the field
  • Comfortable with basic CRM/mobile apps
  • 18+, valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen (fingerprinting where required)
  • A scrappy, nimble, innovative, and hands-on leader who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals and has a passion for competing and winning against larger players in the market
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, excellent and proactive communication skills, an ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives, with sound business judgement and a bias for action

Location, Physical & Work Requirements

This is a boots-on-the-ground, outdoors role – walking neighborhoods, carrying light marketing materials, and working through Washington weather, rain or shine. You'll cover assigned territory in the Greater Tacoma Area or Ellensburg/Selah, with 8-hour shifts that may include evenings and weekends.

  • Standing/walking for extended periods of time
  • Climbing stairs
  • Navigating uneven walking surfaces
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting
  • Carrying up to 15 lbs of marketing materials
  • Typing / fine motor skills to operate handheld technology (iPad)

Measuring Success

  • Sales: Hitting or beating your revenue and conversion goals
  • Consistency: Showing up and staying active in the field, day in and day out
  • Impact: Happy customers, strong post-install feedback, referrals
  • Team: Sharing what works, lifting up teammates, growing Lightcurve's local footprint
  • Behaviors that are aligned with and strengthen company values

Compensation

  • This exempt position pays $45k annually + uncapped commission – OTE $105,000+
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance options
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Access to supplemental insurance and Employee Assistance Programs
  • Monthly bonuses and sales incentives
  • Real advancement based on performance
  • Outdoor work, real conversations, and a direct hand in connecting your community
