    Network Operations Center Supervisor

    Position Summary

    Network Operations Center (NOC) Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of NOC technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. This role oversees the monitoring, maintenance, and support of our network and telecommunications systems, ensuring high availability and reliability for our customers. The ideal candidate will have robust leadership skills, a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, and experience managing a network operations center.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Manage and supervise a team of NOC technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. 
    • Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the NOC, including monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with various departments for issue resolution.
    • Performance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs) for incident response and resolution.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, including network engineering, systems administration, and security, to ensure integrated and seamless operations.
    • Training & Development: Conduct training programs to enhance team members’ skills in customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
    • Reporting: Generate and maintain reports on NOC performance metrics, network uptime, incident response times, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline NOC operations and improve efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience is weighted heavily.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a NOC environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
    • Skills:
      • Strong leadership and team management skills.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
      • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions.
      • Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and telecommunications systems.
      • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
      • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, ITIL) are a plus.
    • Personal Attributes:

      • Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new strategies.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    Compensation

    The annual salary range for this position is $74,000 to $104,000 per year.
