Cyber Security Lead
Position Summary
As the Cyber Security Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the security landscape of our organization. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, managing a dynamic team, and upholding our commitment to protect company data and systems from threats. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and lead the cyber security strategy and initiatives in alignment with the company’s overall security plans.
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of security measures, policies, and procedures at all levels.
- Lead cybersecurity assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Manage hardware and software inventories with an eye towards security vulnerabilities and compliance.
- Be a strong advocate for company purpose and values: By using the Lightcurve values as your guide to how you operate and engage with customers.
- Prepare and manage budgets for cybersecurity initiatives, including procurement and risk mitigation.
- Recruit, train, and mentor cybersecurity team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity incidents, leading the response and remediation efforts.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with progressive responsibility.
- A scrappy, nimble, innovative, and hands-on contributor who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals and has a passion for competing and winning against larger players in the market.
- Proven track record of managing cybersecurity frameworks, incident response, and security operations.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $84,100-$121,900 per year.
