Enterprise Account Executive

Position Summary

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll be the face of Lightcurve to strategic commercial, government, and education customers. You’ll drive net-new logo acquisition, multi-site expansions, and “edge out” strategies to grow our footprint by delivering complex, fiber-based solutions that power mission-critical operations. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a self-directed, organized sales pro who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt & win new business: Build a strategic target list across verticals (Wholesale, banking, medical, aerospace, government, education, and more). Prospect, engage, and close new logos and expand existing relationships.
  • Needs analysis & solutioning: Run professional discovery sessions to understand business drivers, technology use, and deliver custom solutions. Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with high-value customers to uncover new opportunities.
  • Orchestrate complex sales: Manage the full cycle—discovery, solution design, pricing, proposal, negotiation, and close. Multi-thread with executive stakeholders (IT, Ops, Finance, Legal).
  • Funnel development: Log all activity in CRM, maintain a healthy pipeline, and ensure frequent contact with key decision makers—knowing these deals often span multiple months.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales Engineering, Service Delivery, Billing, and other teams to ensure seamless installs and a frictionless customer experience.
  • Brand ambassador: Actively network in the business and IT community, nurture genuine relationships, and represent Lightcurve at industry events.
  • Champion our culture: Model and advocate for Lightcurve’s values of transparency, inclusion, and a performance-driven, team-oriented environment.

Measuring Success

  • Achieve monthly revenue growth goals
  • Maintain pipeline coverage and accurate forecasting
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and company events
  • Contribute to a high-performance, values-driven culture

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of exceeding revenue targets in telecom, broadband, cable, or network services
  • Proven success with a repeatable, strategic sales methodology (MEDDICC, Challenger, or similar)
  • Track record selling complex solutions to wholesale, enterprise, government, or education customers
  • Strong field prospecting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team minded with the ability to collaborate with other departments for successful customer outcomes
  • High integrity, customer empathy, and a bias for action
Required
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of personal auto insurance
  • High school diploma; additional training, certifications, or awards a plus
  • Ability to pass all standard background checks & screenings
  • Non-negligent driving record

Location, Physical & Work Requirements

  • This is a Hybrid position combining a balance of time on-site in the field, home office, and as agreed upon with manager, a designated Lightcurve office. While within the first 90 days, time in the Lightcurve office may be weighted more heavily while learning Lightcurve systems and programs.
  • Must be able to perform extended periods of time sitting/standing, typing, viewing computer screens, and driving between on-site appointments
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, and rare (but potential) need for overnight travel to meet important deadlines when required
  • Employee-Paid Parking is required in our Downtown Tacoma location unless consistently reporting to the office a minimum of 4 days per work week.

Compensation

  • This full-time position pays a competitive base salary + Uncapped variable (OTE aligned to enterprise market norms)
  • Quotas and Accelerators per current Enterprise plan.
  • Reimbursable mileage/travel between offices as needed for field work
